The Team Behind 998bet — Built for Malaysian Players
From a focused Malaysian football sportsbook to a full-service betting and live casino platform trusted by hundreds of thousands of players across the country — this is the 998bet story.
How 998bet Came to Be
998bet was founded with a straightforward premise: Malaysian sports bettors deserved better. Better odds. Faster payouts. A platform that understood local payment methods and didn't make players jump through hoops just to cash out their winnings.
When we launched, the focus was entirely on football — Liga Super Malaysia, the EPL, and the Champions League were where Malaysian fans' hearts were. We built around that passion, offering deep market coverage and competitive Asian Handicap lines that gave punters real value on every match day.
Over the years, player demand shaped us into something more comprehensive. Live casino tables, premium slot reels, e-sports betting, and UFC markets were added methodically — always starting from what our Malaysian community was actually asking for, rather than chasing trends. Today, 998bet serves players across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and beyond, with a platform that feels native to the Malaysian betting experience.
We've processed hundreds of millions of MYR in player withdrawals. We've maintained near-perfect uptime through major sporting events. We've built a support team that speaks your language — literally and culturally — and responds in under five minutes around the clock. None of that happened overnight. It happened because we stayed committed to the fundamentals: fairness, speed, and respect for the player.

Our Mission & Core Values
Every decision we make at 998bet traces back to six guiding principles that define how we operate and how we treat every player on the platform.
Player-First Platform
Every feature, every update, every payment integration at 998bet starts with one question: does this make life better for our Malaysian players? We don't add complexity for the sake of it. Simplicity, speed, and reliability are the non-negotiables we build around.
Speed as a Standard
Waiting for your money is frustrating. We treat payout speed as a core product requirement, not an afterthought. Touch 'n Go eWallet withdrawals under 5 minutes. DuitNow and FPX within 15 minutes. That commitment is baked into our infrastructure.
Uncompromising Security
256-bit SSL encryption on every transaction. Two-factor authentication options. Strict KYC processes that protect both the player and the platform from fraud. Your funds and personal information are guarded with bank-level protocols at all times.
Genuine Fairness
Every game on 998bet runs on independently certified Random Number Generator (RNG) software. Odds are set competitively and transparently. We publish realistic RTP figures and don't hide the house edge in fine print — because we believe informed players are better players.
Responsible Gambling
Gaming should be entertaining, not harmful. 998bet provides deposit limits, self-exclusion tools, and session-time reminders for players who want more control over their play. We enforce a strict 21+ age requirement and take problem gambling seriously — it's part of who we are, not a box we tick.
Real Human Support
Our customer support team isn't a chatbot script. They're real people, trained on Malaysian payment flows, bonus terms, and account queries — available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Live chat responses in under 5 minutes, every time.
Our Commitment to Malaysian Players
998bet isn't a foreign platform that happens to accept MYR. We were built specifically for the Malaysian market — from the sports we cover to the payment channels we integrate and the hours our support team is active. Being genuinely local isn't a marketing claim for us. It shows up in the daily experience of every player on the platform.

Every page, every support interaction, every bonus term is written in clear, natural English suited for Malaysian readers. No language barriers, no confusing translated text — just a platform that communicates like you do.
Malaysian Sports at the Forefront
Liga Super Malaysia, FA Cup, EPL, Champions League, UFC — we prioritise the sports that Malaysian fans actually follow and bet on. Live scores and in-play markets are updated in real time throughout every match.
GMT+8 Support Hours — All Day, Every Day
Our support team operates on Malaysian time. Whether it's a late-night EPL match or an early-morning Live Casino session, someone is available via live chat to help within minutes.
Security, Fairness & Transparency
Trust is earned through consistent action over time — not through promises on a landing page. Here's what underpins 998bet's reputation.
Responsible Gambling — A Core Part of What We Do
998bet is strictly for players aged 21 and above. We believe gambling should be a form of entertainment — never a source of financial stress or harm. Our platform includes deposit limit settings, self-exclusion options, and session time reminders to help players stay in control of their activity.
If you or someone you know is experiencing difficulty with gambling, confidential support is available. In Malaysia, you can reach the Talian Kasih helpline at 15999 for free counselling and referral services. For additional guidance, GamCare provides international online resources for problem gambling support. For more on how 998bet handles this, visit our Responsible Gambling page.
